    Nonequilibrium phase transitions in models of adsorption and desorption

    The nonequilibrium phase transition in a system of diffusing, coagulating particles in the presence of a steady input and evaporation of particles is studied. The system undergoes a transition from a phase in which the average number of particles is finite to one in which it grows linearly in time.     The railway driver is exposed to a demanding psychosocial work environment, which includes solitary work, limited opportunities for social contact and a heavy responsibility for operating the train (in terms of both safety and adhering to the timetable). The railway driver’s job, i.e. to operate the train, is largely governed by timetables and technical conditions (e.g. type of train, track area), which restricts the driver’s ability to decide for himself how the job is to be done. Railway drivers struggle to fulfill work and family responsibilities. This struggle is due to long hours, irregular and inflexible work schedules, and heavy workloads. Thus, work–family conflict can be a common work stressor for railway drivers. This paper deals with the quality of work life of Indian railways’ drivers and the factors that lead to an imbalance, causing high probability of accident. This paper discusses the working conditions and quality of life to the Indian railway drivers. This paper also briefly reviews concepts relevant to defining work-life balance. This  review of literature deals with the Work-Life balance of an Indian railways’ drivers to determine the working conditions and level of their work life balance which is having very high importance on their total wellbeing and hence their productivity and entire growth of an Indian railway.     Length-weight relationship, feeding traits and nutritional value of mahi mahi (Coryphaena hippurus) in the south-eastern Arabian Sea

    The fork length of the specimens of C. hippurus collected along Karnataka coast ranged from 30- 123 cm and fishes having length range from 33-73 cm represented 79% of the total fish sampled. The estimated b values of C. hippurus for both males and females were less than 3 which indicated negative allometric growth; the fish grows faster in length than weight. The most dominant item recorded in the gut of C. hippurus was pelagic and mesopelagic teleosts. Cephalopods (squids, cuttlefish and octopus) were the second important food constituent while crustaceans consisting of crabs and shrimps formed very less quantity

It highlights some of the soft computing techniques like fuzzy logic, genetic algorithm, artificial neural network, and machine learning. The classification of the remotely sensed images is always a tedious task. So, here we explain how these soft computing techniques could be used for image classification. Image classification mainly concentrates on the feature’s extraction process. The features extracted in an efficient manner improve classification accuracy. Hence, the different kinds of features and different methods for these extractions are explained. The best extracted features are selected using genetic algorithm. Various algorithms are shown and comparisons are made. Finally, the results are verified using a hypothetical case study

    Facial expression is a major area for non-verbal language in day to day life communication. As the statistical analysis shows only 7 percent of the message in communication was covered in verbal communication while 55 percent transmitted by facial expression. Emotional expression has been a research subject of physiology since Darwin’s work on emotional expression in the 19th century. According to Psychological theory the classification of human emotion is classified majorly into six emotions: happiness, fear, anger, surprise, disgust, and sadness. Facial expressions which involve the emotions and the nature of speech play a foremost role in expressing these emotions. Thereafter, researchers developed a system based on Anatomic of face named Facial Action Coding System (FACS) in 1970. Ever since the development of FACS there is a rapid progress of research in the domain of emotion recognition. This work is intended to give a thorough comparative analysis of the various techniques and methods that were applied to recognize and identify human emotions. This analysis results will help to identify the proper and suitable techniques, algorithms and the methodologies for future research directions. In this paper extensive analysis on the various recognition techniques used to identify the complexity in recognizing the facial expression is presented. This work will also help researchers and scholars to ease out the problem in choosing the techniques used in the identification of the facial expression domain
